Registered Nurse (RN) - CVICU
About The Position
This role involves providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures. The Registered Nurse (RN) will utilize evidence-based practice, clinical decision-making, compassion, and communication skills to lead efforts in creating the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum. The position is within the Cardiovascular ICU (CVICU) which is a 16-bed unit specializing in post-operative care for CABG's and valves, advanced heart failure management including Swan-Ganz catheters, Impella, IABP, extended therapy dialysis with Tablo, STEMI, EKOS, Post Inari, and ECMO cannulation.
Requirements
- Skilled and compassionate RN
- Experience in Cardiovascular ICU (CVICU) is implied by the unit description.
- Familiarity with post-operative CABG's and valves care.
- Experience with advanced heart failure management.
- Proficiency in using Swan-Ganz catheters, Impella, IABP.
- Experience with extended therapy dialysis with Tablo.
- Knowledge of STEMI, EKOS, Post Inari protocols.
- Experience with ECMO cannulation.
