About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Critical Care Registered Nurse (RN) for a night shift opportunity in a high-acuity acute care hospital. Nurses will be assigned to Adult ICU units based on clinical experience and unit needs. The ideal candidate will have recent ICU experience in a Level I or Level II Trauma Center and be comfortable caring for critically ill adult patients.

Requirements

• Active New York State RN License
• BLS Certification required
• Minimum 1.5 years of recent Critical Care/ICU experience within the last 2 years
• Experience in a Level I or Level II Trauma Center required
• Experience in hospitals of similar or greater size and acuity required
• Critical Care Nursing
• Hemodynamic Monitoring
• Ventilator Management
• Cardiac Monitoring
• Emergency Response and Stabilization
• Medication Administration
• Critical Care Assessment
• Interdisciplinary Care Coordination

Nice To Haves

• Previous Epic EMR experience
• Experience in large academic medical centers or trauma centers
• Strong communication and critical-thinking skills

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill adult patients.
• Perform detailed patient assessments and continuous monitoring.
• Administer medications, blood products, and critical care therapies.
• Manage ventilated patients and advanced monitoring equipment.
• Recognize and respond to changes in patient condition.
• Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and interdisciplinary care teams.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the electronic medical record.
• Deliver patient and family-centered care in accordance with evidence-based practice standards.
