About The Position
Heartline Staffing is recruiting a Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week correctional healthcare contract in Wilkes Barre, Pennsylvania. This assignment is scheduled for 3x12 night shifts with every other weekend required if needed. The RN will monitor and assess patient health, administer prescribed medications and treatments, maintain accurate patient records, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care.
Requirements
- Current, unencu mbered Registered Nurse (RN) license REQUIRED
- Minimum of 6 months of RN experience in a corrections environment REQUIRED
Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care to inmates in a correctional setting.
- Monitor and assess patient health status.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
