Registered Nurse (RN) Coordinator - Wound Care
About The Position
Reporting to the Senior Director for Professional Practice, the person in this position collaborates with members of the healthcare team to assess, and develop treatment plans for patients with pressure injuries as well as provide education for staff and input into evidence based practices and products to prevent pressure injuries. The person in this position responds to consults for care and education of patients with abdominal stomas, wounds, fistulas, drains, and incontinence. Requirements
- Registered Nurse (RN) with experience in wound care.
- Ability to collaborate with healthcare team members.
- Skills in patient assessment and treatment plan development.
- Experience in providing education to staff.
- Knowledge of evidence-based practices for pressure injury prevention.
- Experience with care and education of patients with abdominal stomas, wounds, fistulas, drains, and incontinence.
