About The Position

A growing home care organization is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) Clinical Supervisor / Nurse Manager to oversee clinical operations, support caregivers, and ensure the delivery of high-quality care throughout the Wichita area. This role is ideal for an RN who enjoys a combination of office-based clinical coordination and field-based patient oversight. The Clinical Supervisor serves as a key resource for caregivers, clients, referral sources, and leadership while helping ensure compliance with state regulations, care standards, and agency policies. Both full-time and part-time candidates will be considered. Flexible scheduling may be available for experienced home care nurses.

Requirements

  • Active Kansas Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing.
  • Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required.
  • Home care, home health, hospice, private duty, case management, or community health experience strongly preferred.
  • Strong assessment, documentation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and automobile insurance.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Ability to travel throughout the Wichita metropolitan area for client visits and supervisory responsibilities.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct client assessments, reassessments, and supervisory visits.
  • Develop, review, and update individualized plans of care.
  • Ensure compliance with state regulations, agency policies, and quality standards.
  • Provide clinical oversight and support to caregivers, CNAs, HHAs, and direct care staff.
  • Participate in caregiver orientation, training, mentoring, and performance coaching.
  • Collaborate with physicians, hospitals, case managers, discharge planners, and community partners.
  • Monitor documentation for accuracy, completeness, and regulatory compliance.
  • Investigate clinical concerns and assist with incident follow-up when necessary.
  • Support client admissions, care transitions, and ongoing service coordination.
  • Participate in quality assurance and performance improvement activities.
  • Serve as a clinical resource for staff and clients.
  • Assist leadership with census growth, staffing coordination, and operational initiatives as needed.
  • The responsibilities are generally consistent with traditional home health nursing supervision functions, including clinical oversight, patient assessment, staff supervision, and quality management.
