About The Position

The Registered Nurse (RN) Clinic position involves assessing patient conditions and nursing care needs, setting goals, and prescribing appropriate nursing interventions to meet physical, psychological, social, and rehabilitative needs. The role includes developing and implementing individual nursing care plans, evaluating patient care outcomes, and collaborating with physicians and other hospital employees. Responsibilities also encompass administering medications, treatments, and therapies, communicating with patients, overseeing care provision, and educating patients and/or families about their conditions. Accurate documentation of nursing observations, assessments, medications, treatments, and other care provided is essential. Additionally, the role involves maintaining facility equipment, supplies, and work areas, assisting in the orientation of new employees, coordinating and supervising employee activities and department operations, and participating in performance/process improvement activities.

Requirements

  • Associate’s Degree in Nursing required
  • 1 year or less of experience
  • BCLS upon completion of hospital orientation
  • Current RN license in state of practice
  • Ability to understand, communicate, and react effectively to patient and family needs.
  • Critical thinking
  • Work well under pressure while keeping calm and maintaining customer focus

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred
  • ACLS and PALS within six months of hire or transfer date to position

Responsibilities

  • Participates in performance/process improvement activities.
