Requirements
- Current state RN license
- Associate’s degree from an accredited nursing school
- BLS
- ACLS and PALS are required within six months of hire

- One year of experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Provides direct patient care using the nursing process in accordance with established scope and standards of practice, including medication administration, treatments, and assistance with activities of daily living
- Supervises nursing and support staff during assigned shifts to ensure safe, high-quality patient care
- Monitors, assesses, and communicates patient conditions, responds promptly to changes in status, and prioritizes care based on urgency
- Collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care, transfers, and discharges, while addressing patients’ psychosocial and spiritual needs
- Educates patients and families based on individual needs, advocates for patients’ physical and emotional well-being
- Reports to the Director or Manager of the Department
