Our team is specially trained to perform a wide range of minimally invasive procedures designed to monitor, manage, and cure rhythm abnormalities. Procedures and treatments offered are Electrophysiology study, Cardiac ablation, Pacemaker implants, Implantable Cardioverter Defibrillator (ICD) implants, Cardiac resynchronization therapy. Summary: Provides direct patient care in the Cath Lab Department using the nursing process in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice. Reports to: Director or Manager of Cath Lab Department

Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of North Carolina (or compact license)
• Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN) from an accredited nursing program
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (required)
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) (required)
• Active North Carolina RN license (single state) or compact required. If relocating, licensure must be updated to the new Primary State of Residence (PSOR) before employment begins

Nice To Haves

• BSN preferred
• Three years of experience in Cardiac Cath Lab, ICU, CCU, or Emergency Department preferred

Responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate, high-quality care for patients undergoing diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures.
• Utilize specialized clinical expertise to prepare patients, assist physicians during procedures, and provide post-procedure monitoring and recovery.
• Serve as a patient-care innovator, incorporating the latest technology, imaging techniques, and evidence-based practices.
• Collaborate with cardiologists, technologists, and the interdisciplinary team to enhance patient safety, comfort, and outcomes.
• Manage complex cases with precision, hemodynamic monitoring, and administration of conscious sedation.
