About The Position

The Registered Nurse (RN) in the Cath Lab utilizes the nursing process in assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care of patients from admission to the department through discharge or transfer. This role provides expert care and education to patients in a clinical setting, acting as a patient advocate, leader, and mentor for assistive personnel. The RN is knowledgeable in clinical nursing procedures, disease processes, interventions, and pharmacological agents, and manages patient loads within assigned timelines. The position is PRN with a 0.001 FTE, requiring 10-hour shifts starting at 0700, with a schedule of Monday-Friday 1000-1830, and may include nights, weekends, and holidays.

Requirements

Current state RN license
Associate’s degree from an accredited nursing school
BLS for Healthcare Provider upon hire
Two (2) years of clinic experience

BSN
Three (3) year of clinic experience
