About The Position

Registered Nurse (RN) - Casual position at Extendicare's Laurier Manor, a 242-bed Long-Term Care Home located in Ottawa, Ontario. This role involves providing care to residents in accordance with the standards of practice and offering leadership and guidance to the nursing and personal care staff. Opportunities are available for casual positions on Day (6:30-14:30), Evening (14:30-22:30), and Night (22:30-6:30) shifts.

Requirements

• Current registration with provincial College of Nurses as a Registered Nurse (RN)

Responsibilities

• Liaise with interdisciplinary team and care providers to develop, implement, review and evaluate resident complex care plans including education and support.
• Provide leadership to nursing and personal care staff by planning, directing, supervising and evaluating their work.
