About The Position

As a Night Shift, Cardiothoracic Stepdown Nurse at Lankenau Medical Center, you will be an integral part of the Interdisciplinary Team on a 16-bed unit, providing care and treatment to Cardiothoracic Stepdown patients. This role offers opportunities for career development through tuition reimbursement for advanced nursing degrees and engagement in hospital and system-wide committees, unit councils, research projects, precepting, and the Clinical Ladder program. Requirements

• One year of recent Telemetry and/or Stepdown Nurse experience required.
• RN Diploma, ASN required.
• PA RN license OR a multi-state license verified in one of the approved states through the Nursing Licensure Compact.

Nice To Haves

• BSN preferred.
• Provider BLS (American Heart Assoc/American Red Cross) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Caring for the Cardiothoracic Stepdown patient population.
• Participating in an Interdisciplinary Team.
• Engaging in hospital & system-wide Nursing Committees, Unit Councils, evidence-based research projects, precepting new staff, and pursuing the Clinical Ladder program.
