About The Position
Join our team as a day shift, full-time, Cardiology Clinic Registered Nurse (RN) in Tulsa, OK. Oklahoma Heart Institute (OHI) is the state’s premier program dedicated to the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular disease. Located on the campus of Hillcrest Medical Center and with 13 clinics across the region, OHI combines the expertise of nationally recognized cardiovascular physicians with the region’s most advanced technology and personalized patient care. From groundbreaking research and first time procedures to exceptional quality outcomes, OHI has earned a reputation as one of the finest tertiary cardiovascular care programs in the country. Registered Nurses within this job classification are accountable for assessing, planning, evaluating implementing, and documenting clinical care in accordance with OHI standards to deliver efficient, effective and quality patient care. He/she is expected to adhere to the Oklahoma Nurse Practice Act.
Requirements
- Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing
- Current OK RN License
- BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care
- ACLS (for nurses in clinic with providers)
Responsibilities
- Assessing, planning, evaluating, implementing, and documenting clinical care in accordance with OHI standards to deliver efficient, effective and quality patient care.
- Adhering to the Oklahoma Nurse Practice Act.
