Registered Nurse (RN) - Cardiac Telemetry
About The Position
As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures. Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum. The unit is a 21-bed unit providing care to Cardiac/Telemetry care patients. Diagnosis includes Cardiac Arrythmias, Congestive Heart Failure, Chest Pain, MI, and Peritoneal Dialysis. RNs are ACLS certified within 6 months with ability to respond to all in house Code 4 calls. This role offers a supportive learning environment, team approach, and patient-centric care to optimize patient outcomes.
Requirements
- Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing.
- Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor of science in nursing preferred.
- ACLS certification (within 6 months of hire).
Responsibilities

- Leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience.
- Mastering skills in pharmacology, pathophysiology, laboratory value interpretation and Telemetry.
- Responding to all in-house Code 4 calls.
