About The Position
6 Heart Tower (6HT) is a 30-bed cardiac observation unit located on the 6th floor of Heart Tower. This position is Sign-on Bonus eligible. 6HT specializes in pre and post-operative procedures, including cardiac catheterization, pacemaker placement, and electrophysiology studies. 6HT also cares and supports med/surg overflow patients. The typical Nurse to Patient ratio is 1:5.
Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing
- Current valid Georgia nursing license or eNLC nursing license
- Current BLS
- Will consider current nursing student graduating from an accredited RN education program within 60 days
Responsibilities
- Care for pre and post-operative procedures, including cardiac catheterization, pacemaker placement, and electrophysiology studies.
- Care and support med/surg overflow patients.
- Maintain a typical Nurse to Patient ratio of 1:5.
