About The Position

This is a full-time Registered Nurse position in a fast-paced and rewarding nursing environment. The unit specializes in the care of pre- and post-operative cardiac patients undergoing procedures such as heart catheterization, pacemaker insertion, TAVR, cardioversion, and ablations. The unit also provides care for a diverse mix of medical-surgical and orthopedic patients. The team is dedicated to collaborative, patient-centered care, working closely with surgeons, therapists, and multidisciplinary teams, with a strong emphasis on pain management, mobility, and post-surgical recovery. Teamwork is a primary goal.

Requirements

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
• BLS for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
• ACLS certification issued by the American Heart Association required/expected within 6 months of hire date.

Nice To Haves

• Cardiac/critical care experience preferred
