About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Cath Lab Registered Nurse (RN) for a travel assignment in California. The ideal candidate will provide specialized nursing care to patients undergoing cardiac catheterization, electrophysiology, and other cardiovascular procedures while collaborating closely with physicians and procedural teams.

Requirements

• Active RN license required
• Recent Cath Lab nursing experience required
• Cardiac catheterization procedures
• Hemodynamic monitoring
• Conscious sedation
• Cardiac rhythm interpretation
• Emergency and critical care response
• Vascular access management
• Patient assessment and monitoring
• Electronic medical record documentation

Nice To Haves

• Experience with cardiac diagnostic and interventional procedures preferred
• Strong critical care and cardiac assessment skills

Responsibilities

• Provide pre-, intra-, and post-procedural nursing care for cardiac catheterization patients
• Monitor patients during diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures
• Administer medications and conscious sedation as appropriate
• Assess and monitor patient responses before, during, and after procedures
• Assist physicians during cardiac and vascular interventions
• Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic medical record
• Ensure compliance with patient safety, infection prevention, and quality standards
• Respond effectively to emergency situations within the procedural setting
