About The Position

LCH 3K is a 22-bed medical observation unit. We primarily serve the child and adolescent behavioral health population. Occasionally, we do see patients with medical issues that are stable in nature. Our patients come to us with various diagnoses. These diagnoses include suicidal ideation, homicidal ideation, eating disorders, schizophrenia, autism, and sex trafficking to name a few. Our unit serves as a safe place for these youth to be while the team finds the next level of care or services that they need to be stable. Our team is a dynamic, passionate, and diverse group. We are made up of nurses, psychiatric technicians, healthcare technicians, and patient safety attendants. Our passion is to serve these patients in a caring and safety focused manner.
