Copper Springs in Avondale, Arizona, is a behavioral health hospital offering both inpatient and outpatient services for adolescents, adults and their families. Copper Springs Avondale is a behavioral health hospital located in Avondale, Arizona, serving the greater Phoenix metro area. We provide inpatient and outpatient mental health and addiction treatment for adolescents and adults in a safe, supportive, and compassionate environment.

Our programs include inpatient psychiatric care, detox services, Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP), and Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP), allowing us to support patients at every stage of their healing and recovery journey. We also offer 24/7 walk in access, ensuring timely care for individuals in crisis.

Requirements

• Current state RN license
• Associate's degree from an accredited nursing school
• AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) required
• Must have a current Arizona or compact multi-state RN license
• Associate's degree required

Responsibilities

• Assesses patient and plan care within set timeframes and document findings according to policies
• Demonstrates leadership through duties that may include delegating tasks such as groups, close observation, meal supervision, etc
• Will also oversee staff to ensure nursing policies and procedures are followed and exemplary patient care is consistently delivered by self and all members of the team
• RN will follow hospital policy for medication administration
