Copper Springs in Avondale, Arizona, is a behavioral health hospital offering both inpatient and outpatient services for adolescents, adults and their families. The facility provides a range of treatments for mental health and addiction issues. Requirements

  • Current state RN license
  • Associate's degree from an accredited nursing school
  • AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) required
  • Must have a current Arizona or compact multi-state RN license
  • Associate's degree required

Responsibilities

  • Assesses patient and plan care within set timeframes and document findings according to policies
  • Demonstrates leadership through duties that may include delegating tasks such as groups, close observation, meal supervision, etc
  • Will also oversee staff to ensure nursing policies and procedures are followed and exemplary patient care is consistently delivered by self and all members of the team
  • RN will follow hospital policy for medication administration
