About The Position

This is a full-time, days position for a Registered Nurse (RN) in the Behavioral Health Unit at Willamette Valley Medical Center. The RN coordinates total nursing care for patients, participates in patient and family teaching, acts as a patient advocate, and collaborates with ancillary and non-nursing departments. The role involves providing direct patient care using the nursing process and adhering to applicable scope and standards of practice. The unit is one of three Geriatric Psych Units in Oregon with a 5:1 patient-to-nurse ratio and offers 12-hour shifts.

Requirements

• Current state RN license
• Bachelor's degree or Associate degree from an accredited nursing school
• BLS
• 1 year of experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Coordinates total nursing care for patients.
• Participates in patient and family teaching.
