About The Position

Atrium Health Floyd Behavioral Health is a 53-bed inpatient psych hospital offering inpatient and outpatient services for the 18 and older population, with a specialized unit for the 60 and above population. Common diagnoses treated include Anxiety Disorder, Mood Disorders, Psychotic Disorders, Substance Use Disorders, and Personality Disorders. As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures. You will use evidence-based practice, clinical decision-making, compassion, and communication skills while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.

Requirements

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
