Join our team in a 12-bed Behavioral Health Unit, located on the 5th floor, specializing in adult patients. Staffed with compassionate healthcare professionals including RNs, Mental Health Assistants, Psychiatrists, Social Workers and Mental Health Providers. Operating with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:8, our unit treats a variety of diagnoses such as Major Depressive Disorder (MDD), Bipolar Disorder, Schizophrenia, Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD), and Substance Use Disorder (SUD). Patients may present with psychosis, suicidal ideation, homicidal ideation, mania, or exacerbations of mental illness. This role offers an opportunity to work collaboratively in a supportive environment focused on providing quality care and support to individuals experiencing behavioral health crises. You’ll make an impact by utilizing your specialized plan-of-care intervention and serving as a patient-care innovator. You will shape exceptional patient journeys every day and leverage your skills and our cutting-edge technology to directly impact patient wellbeing.
Requirements
- Current state RN license
- Associate’s degree from an accredited nursing school
- Basic Life Support certification is required within 30 days of hire
- ACLS and PALS are required within six months of hire
