Registered Nurse (RN) Behavioral Health PRN
About The Position
This position is for a Registered Nurse (RN) in the Behavioral Health Unit at Memorial Medical Center. The unit is a 12-bed facility specializing in adult patients with diagnoses such as Major Depressive Disorder (MDD), Bipolar Disorder, Schizophrenia, Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD), and Substance Use Disorder (SUD). Patients may present with psychosis, suicidal ideation, homicidal ideation, mania, or exacerbations of mental illness. The role involves working collaboratively in a supportive environment focused on providing quality care and support to individuals experiencing behavioral health crises. The nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:8.
Requirements
- Current state RN license.
- Associate’s degree from an accredited nursing school.
- BLS certification required within 30 days of hire.
- ACLS and PALS required within six months of hire.
