About The Position

Frye Regional Medical Center, part of Lifepoint Health, is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for their Behavioral Health Intake team. This role primarily involves reviewing clinical documentation from referrals and accepting patients. It is a fast-paced environment where the ability to gather information and make a determination in less than 15 minutes is standard. Requirements

  • Current state RN license
  • Basic Life Support certification is required within 30 days of hire
  • ACLS and PALS are required within six months of hire

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelors degree preferred
  • One (1) year of experience preferred
  • ASLS certification preferred

Responsibilities

  • Accurately performs patient assessments and identifies patient needs
  • Identifies and initiates appropriate nursing interventions
  • Provides care appropriate to condition and age of the patient
  • Performs timely and appropriate documentation relating to medical necessity in the medical record
  • Responsible for completion and revision of the Interdisciplinary Care Plan for each patient
  • Performs timely and accurate QI assessments
