The Bariatric and Orthopedic Program Coordinator is responsible for the overall administration and operations of the Bariatric and Orthopedic Program. This role involves the integration, facilitation, and coordination of services for this patient population in collaboration with unit leaders. The coordinator is responsible for developing and implementing initiatives to positively impact quality patient care, aiming for improved patient outcomes as measured by Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), Health Grades, and The Joint Commission. The scope of patients includes all Bariatric Surgical Patients, Total Joint Replacement (TJR) elective, revisions & fractures (knee, hip, shoulder, elbow, ankle), spine, foot/ankle, and sports orthopedic patients.
