Registered Nurse (RN) - Atrium Health Fertility Center IVF RN Part Time
About The Position
The Registered Nurse (RN) will work in the Ambulatory Nursing team at Atrium Health Greater Charlotte, specifically at the Atrium Health Fertility Center IVF. This center is a referral-based clinic in uptown Charlotte serving adult patients 18 years and older. The clinic focuses on patients experiencing difficulties conceiving, those interested in fertility preservation (egg freezing), patients needing donor tissue, and those with complex GYN histories. The office is open Monday-Friday from 6:30 am to 4 pm, with patient care also provided on weekends starting at 8 am, depending on patient volume. The team includes nurses, medical assistants, physicians, APPs, andrology, embryology, financial coordinators, lab/phlebotomy, and a surgical team. The shared goal is to support patients on their journey to parenthood.
Requirements
- Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
- Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
Nice To Haves
- Minimum of 1 year of RN experience is preferred.
- Prior ambulatory and surgical experience preferred
- BSN preferred
Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care within the Atrium Health Fertility Center IVF.
- Work 3 days a week, with occasional rotating weekends (including Saturday and Sunday) and holidays.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including nurses, medical assistants, physicians, APPs, andrology, embryology, financial coordinators, lab/phlebotomy, and a surgical team.
