Registered Nurse (RN) - Adult Acute Care
About The Position
This is a full-time Registered Nurse position in Adult Acute Care - Med Surg: IU 2nd Floor at Hugh Chatham Memorial Hospital. The unit is a 61-bed medical-surgical unit specializing in the care of orthopedic and stroke patients, serving a diverse population with a broad range of medical conditions and surgical needs. It is a fast-paced environment ideal for nurses who enjoy high activity, adaptability, and caring for a wide spectrum of patient populations. The role involves providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process, using evidence-based practice, clinical decision-making, compassion, and communication skills to ensure the safest patient environment and best patient experience.
Requirements
- Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
- Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
- At least 1 year of RN experience
Responsibilities
- Providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process.
- Delivering safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
