Registered Nurse (RN) - Adolescent Inpatient
About The Position
The Institute of Living at Hartford Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse for their Adolescent Inpatient unit. This role provides holistic, quality trauma-informed care for a specialized patient population. Nursing duties include assessment, treatment planning, medication management, and patient education, while working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and support. The Institute of Living is a leading center for patient care, research, and education in behavioral health and addiction disorders, offering programs for children, adolescents, and adults.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
- CT RN license required upon starting
- Certified BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA)
- Must be able to effectively communicate information in English
