About The Position

Registered Nurse (RN) – Recovery and Wellness. This position is located at the Addiction Recovery Center, 240 North Miller Road Mansfield, TX 76063. The role involves delivering care to patients utilizing the Nursing Process, including assessment, planning, interventions, and evaluation of effectiveness. It also includes incorporating age-specific safety/infection control measures, initiating actions to meet patient information needs, and maintaining continuity of patient care across shifts and facilities.

Requirements

• Nursing Diploma required OR Associate degree from an accredited Nursing program required
• BCLS prior to hire
• BCPMHN upon hire required
• ACPI (30 days within hire)
• One-year experience as a clinical nurse, or completion of an RN residency program required
• RN must practice within the regulations of the Texas Nurse Practice Act, serve as a role model, intra/interdisciplinary collaborator, and coordinator for quality patient care

Nice To Haves

• BSN preferred
• One year of Behavioral Health experience strongly preferred

Responsibilities

• Delivers care to patients utilizing the Nursing Process
• Assesses the patient

• Evaluates the effectiveness of interventions
• Incorporates age specific safety/infection control measures into patient care.
• Initiates action to meet patient and/or significant others need for information
• Maintains continuity of patient care inter-shift, inter-hospital, and while expediting out of hospital transfers.
