About The Position

The Acute Rehab Registered Nurse (RN) role focuses on organizing and delivering care to a group of patients with varying complexities in an acute rehabilitation setting. This position involves planning, directing, assessing, and providing nursing care in accordance with hospital and department policies. The role includes providing basic bedside care, documenting patient progress and interventions, and fostering a positive and inclusive environment that supports emotional well-being.

Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensed within the state of Indiana
• 2 years of recent and related experience, as required by facility
• Must be able to work independently, yet together as part of a team
• Must be able to remain calm under pressure
• Proficient at taking vital signs and administering medication accordingly
• Active BLS, physical, TB test, and other medical compliance as required by facility

Responsibilities

• Organize and deliver the care of a group of patients with needs of varying complexity.
• Plan, direct, assess and provide nursing care according to the policies and procedures of the hospital and department.
• Provide basic, bedside care.
• Document patient progress, completed care, and interventions in compliance with facility policies.
• Promote a positive and inclusive environment that fosters emotional well being.
