Full-Time Days RN - Cardio Pulmonary/Med Surg unit - Sunnyview Rehab Hospital Come join our Cardio-Pulmonary/Med Surg team at Sunnyview! Schedule: 3 12 hour shifts (7a-7:30p) per week Offers self scheduling with only 3 weekend shifts (Sat OR Sun) per 6 week time block!

Requirements

New York State RN License
Associates Degree in Nursing.
Strong interpersonal skills with ability to maintain the highest level of customer service while working in a fast paced environment
Critical thinking and problem solving skills
Passion to learn, grow and develop in the nursing field

Responsibilities

Provides nursing care to a diverse patient population with complex health conditions.
Builds skills in telemetry, medically complex, and ventilated patient populations.
Trains for Telemetry certification.
Trains for Code blue certification.
Trains for ACLS certification.
Develops skills in using Ventilators.
Develops skills in Trach care.
Develops skills in Peritoneal Dialysis.
Develops skills in Blood administration.
Develops skills in IV placement.
Develops skills in Wound care.
Develops skills in Bi-Paps and C-paps.
Develops skills in Reading telemetries.
