About The Position

BAYADA Home Health Care Private Duty Skilled Nursing in Richmond, Virginia is seeking experienced Registered Nurses (RNs) for 1:1 pediatric or adult private duty nursing roles. We have current needs for nurses specializing in overnights and tracheostomy/ventilator care. BAYADA offers an excellent onboarding and training experience, catering to clients from infant to adult ages with varying acuity levels, including trach and vented patients. We invest in our nurses by providing extensive training to ensure success on cases. Private duty nursing involves traditional shifts (4, 8, 10, or 12 hours) with hands-on care for a single client per day, allowing for relationship building and observation of client milestones. Your day will involve traveling to a client's home, executing doctors' orders, performing assessments, monitoring conditions, documenting observations and interventions, and performing skills with autonomy.

Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited and approved nursing program, as indicated by school transcript or diploma
• A current nursing license in good standing in the state

Responsibilities

• Follow up with, execute, and properly document doctors' orders
