Registered Nurse Residency - MSTICU
About The Position
Saint Luke's Hospital is looking for a talented Registered Nurse to join the dynamic Medical Surgical Intensive Care Unit. This is a full-time, 36-hour position on nights. The unit offers supportive leadership, with Nursing Assistants to assist, and Intensivists and NP's working alongside RNs during shifts. Respiratory Therapy is also available at night. Extra incentives are available for picking up additional shifts. The role is accountable for utilizing the nursing process, performing patient care, delegating patient care tasks, and supervising other patient care staff. The nurse will be responsible for coordinating the plan of care for a group of assigned patients and consulting with other members of the health care team when indicated to ensure optimal patient outcomes. This clinical nurse demonstrates proficiency and abides by policies, rules, guidelines, and procedures.
Requirements
- Less than 1 year applicable experience
- Registered Nurse (MO) - National Council of State Boards of Nursing (NURSYS)
- Associate Degree - Nursing
