About The Position

Central Texas Rehabilitation Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for their Rehabilitation unit. This full-time position offers a $20,000 sign-on bonus and involves working 3x12-hour shifts, days from 6:45 am to 7:15 pm. As a Rehabilitation RN, you will be responsible for direct patient care, including assessments, nursing interventions, documentation, and interdisciplinary coordination, ensuring high standards of safety and quality. Requirements

Graduation from an accredited Bachelors of Science in Nursing, Associate Degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma program.
Current state licensure as Registered Nurse.
CPR/BCLS certification.
Minimum of one year RN Experience required.
Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills

Nice To Haves

ACLS preferred.
CRRN Preferred.
six months’ Medical/Surgical experience in an acute care setting preferred.

Responsibilities

Accurately performs patient assessments and identified patient needs.
Identifies and initiates appropriate nursing interventions.
Provides patient and family teaching throughout the rehabilitation stay and prior to discharge.
Provides care appropriate to the condition and age of the patient.
Works cooperatively and actively participates with other members of the interdisciplinary team.
