Requirements

  • Current state RN license
  • Degree from an accredited nursing program (ADN, BSN, or Diploma)
  • Current RN licensure in the State of New Jersey
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required

Nice To Haves

  • ACLS preferred
  • CRRN preferred but not required
  • Minimum six (6) months of acute care or med/surg experience preferred
  • Strong communication, critical thinking, teamwork, and rehabilitation-focused mindset

Responsibilities

  • Accurately performs patient assessments and identifies patient needs
  • Identifies and initiates appropriate nursing interventions
  • Provides care appropriate to condition and age of the patient
  • Performs timely and appropriate documentation relating to medical necessity in the medical record
  • Responsible for completion and revision of the Interdisciplinary Care Plan for each patient
  • Performs timely and accurate QI assessments
