Requirements

  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • Registered Nurse credentialed from the Texas Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
  • Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.

Responsibilities

  • Care Plan Implementation: Execute and monitor individualized patient care plans, ensuring all clinical goals are met with precision.
  • Clinical Communication: Diligently track, record, and communicate changes in patient conditions to the health-care team to ensure timely interventions.
  • Multidisciplinary Coordination: Act as the primary point of contact across all medical disciplines to ensure seamless, well-coordinated patient care.
  • Order Execution: Accurately process and carry out all physician and nursing orders to maintain the highest standards of safety and treatment.
  • Discharge Planning & Advocacy: Pro-actively assess and coordinate discharge needs with the health-care team to ensure a safe and successful transition for the patient.
