About The Position

The Bridge Youth & Family Services is seeking a Registered Nurse or Registered Psychiatric Nurse to join their Youth Recovery House team. This role involves providing compassionate nursing care and support to youth experiencing substance withdrawal and mental health challenges in a secure setting, with on-site physician support. Requirements

  • RN/RPN with current registration with BCCNM
  • Well developed interpersonal, oral, and written skills.
  • Proficient knowledge of group process and facilitation techniques.
  • Good time management skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with program team, social workers, and other community professionals.
  • Criminal record check in accordance with agency policy
  • Medical clearances
  • Employees must declare their vaccination status for COVID-19 and influenza; if vaccinated, documentation must be provided.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with addictions and mental health would be an asset
  • First aid/CPR certificate (preferred)
