About The Position

CBI Home Health is seeking passionate and caring Registered Nurses (RN) and Registered Practical Nurses (RPN) to join their team in Peterborough County, Ontario. This posting is to build a talent pool for future openings, with applications kept on file for up to 12 months. The role involves providing care in homes, schools, and other community locations, applying clinical skills in areas like wound care, IV therapy, palliative care, pediatric care, tube feeding, and medication administration. The position emphasizes a person and family-centered approach, collaborative care, and navigating clients to resources. There's also an opportunity to join the PRHC Integrated Care Team, working within a neighborhood care model.

Requirements

• Registered Nurse/ Registered Practical Nurse (RN/ RPN) with the College of Nurses of Ontario in good standing
• Clear criminal record check with vulnerable sector screening within the past 12 months
• Proof of negative TB test within the last 12 months
• Professional Liability Insurance (WeRPN/RNAO)
• Ability to travel from home to home within the community- a valid driver's license, vehicle and car insurance is required for this role
• Strong verbal and written English communication skills

Nice To Haves

• Ability to communicate in French or other languages is considered an asset

Responsibilities

• Make a difference in the lives of people within their homes, schools (pediatric) and other community locations.
