About The Position

Via Christi St Francis is seeking a Registered Nurse for their Rapid Response team. This position is located in Wichita, KS, and operates on a Night Shift schedule on a PRN basis. Requirements

BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Kansas Board of Nursing required.
Advanced Life Support obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR professional licensure at time of hire required.

Responsibilities

Deliver high-acuity nursing care by executing evidence-based protocols that ensure patient safety and clinical excellence in a fast-paced ICU environment.
Orchestrate multidisciplinary care as the primary point of contact, aligning physicians, specialists, and support staff to provide a seamless, holistic treatment plan.
Champion patient advocacy by continuously monitoring physiological changes and communicating critical updates to the care team to ensure timely, life-saving interventions.
Engineer comprehensive discharge strategies in collaboration with the healthcare team to ensure patients and their families are prepared for a safe and successful transition to the next stage of recovery.
