About The Position

The Registered Nurse in Radiology will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care through nursing education, nursing research, and innovations in nursing practice. This role is part of an award-winning team known for its teamwork, Joint Commission readiness, and inclusive, patient-focused culture. Texas Health Frisco is a 93-bed acute care hospital serving the Frisco community and surrounding areas, offering specialized services in women's health, outpatient surgery, neonatal intensive care, emergency medicine, heart and vascular care, digestive health, and bariatrics. As a collaboration between Texas Health and UT Southwestern Medical Center, the campus includes a multispecialty clinic. Texas Health Frisco is a Level III Trauma Center, Acute Heart Attack Ready facility, a designated Baby-Friendly facility, and recognized as a Pathways to Excellence organization.

Requirements

  • Nursing Diploma, Associate's Degree in Nursing, or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
  • 1 Year experience as a Registered Nurse.
  • RN - Registered Nurse Upon Hire.
  • BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
  • 5 years of nursing experience.
  • Sedation abilities.
  • ACLS- Advanced Cardiac Life Support- highly preferred upon hire.
  • PALS- highly preferred upon hire.
  • A high degree of confidentiality, positive interpersonal skills, and ability to function in a fast-paced environment.
