About The Position

Radiology Nursing is a dynamic unit that supports patients undergoing radiological procedures. While the unit does not have a specific number of beds, it plays a crucial role in ensuring patient comfort and safety during various imaging studies. The patient population and diagnoses in this unit vary, reflecting the diverse nature of radiology services. This position will be supporting outpatient CT and MRI. Mostly consists of screening patients for the scans, starting IV's, accessing ports, monitoring/responding to contrast reactions. Requirements

• Minimum of one year of RN experience
• Associates of Nursing (ASN)
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Indiana or an active Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) RN license
• Graduated from a nationally accredited nursing program (Exceptions: Candidates who have not graduated from a nationally accredited program may be considered if they possess more than two years of acute care experience. Such exceptions are subject to review and approval by the Chief Nursing Officer (CNO).)
• Basic Life Support certification through the AHA
• Must live within a 45-minute response time of the hospital

Nice To Haves

• Bachelors of Nursing (BSN) preferred
• Other advanced Life Support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies
