About The Position
We are hiring an experienced Float Psych RN for a 13-week contract assignment at MiraVista Behavioral Health Center in Holyoke, MA. This opportunity is ideal for psychiatric nurses passionate about delivering compassionate behavioral health care in a collaborative inpatient setting.
Requirements
- Active Massachusetts RN License
- Minimum 1 Year of Inpatient Psych Experience
- Must Be Willing to Float & Take Charge
- CPR Certification Required
- No RTO Allowed During Assignment
- Every Other Weekend Required
Nice To Haves
- Behavioral Health/Substance Abuse Experience Preferred
Responsibilities
- Provide direct and indirect psychiatric patient care
- Maintain a safe therapeutic environment
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary treatment teams
- Assist in crisis intervention and de-escalation
- Document patient progress in EMR systems
