Registered Nurse (RN) - Progressive Care (PCU)
About The Position
MidState Medical Center is an acute-care community teaching hospital providing comprehensive inpatient and outpatient services. We are actively hiring Registered Nurses (RN) for our Progressive Care Units (PCU) across multiple hours and shifts. At MidState Medical Center, we prioritize the well-being of our Registered Nurses, offering a supportive environment where they can practice at the top of their license, utilizing research, innovation, and evidence-based practices. Nurses will have opportunities for clinical instruction and further learning through our PCU Nurse Residency program.
Requirements
- Current Connecticut RN License required within 90 days of hire
- Graduate of an accredited nursing school
- BLS certification by the American Heart Association
Nice To Haves
- One-year recent Acute Care RN experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive inpatient and outpatient services.
- Practice at the top of their license using research, innovation, and evidence-based practices.
- Participate in clinical instruction and learning opportunities as part of the PCU Nurse Residency program.
