About The Position

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Progressive Care unit. This role is vital in providing high-quality care to patients requiring close monitoring and advanced treatment. The Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU) features 16-10 beds with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1 to 4. This is a contract position of 48 hours with an immediate start date. The ideal candidate will be experienced in managing a variety of complex patient conditions, including Sepsis, Heart Failure, Hypertensive emergencies, Respiratory failure, Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD), Chronic Kidney Disease, Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus (TDM2), and Substance abuse issues, Encephalopathy. Experience with administering Heparin drips is also required.

Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years of nursing experience.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
• Experience with administering Heparin drips.
