Registered Nurse-Progressive Care Unit-Weekend Option Nights
About The Position
Responsible for providing direct and indirect nursing care. Assesses patients to determine mental, physical, and spiritual needs. Assesses, plans, implements and evaluates an individual plan of care in collaboration with the multidisciplinary health care team. Provides explanations and instructions to patient/responsible person. Demonstrates ability to use nursing clinical judgment to recognize and report changes in patient condition. Contributes to a healthy workplace environment by managing conflict using professional communication skills. Meets Core Measure responsibilities related to patient care. Participates in continuing education. Maintains complete and accurate medical records. As Charge RN, monitors workload and delegates responsibilities, assists Unit Manager with daily operations, and rounds with physicians.
Requirements
- Current Illinois Registered Nurse license
- BLS
- ACLS, NRP, STABLE, TNS, TNCC, PALS, ENPC if applicable

- Associate, Diploma, Bachelor Degree or Master’s in Nursing

Benefits
- Compensation (Commensurate with experience): $34 To $53.38
