About The Position

Navitas Healthcare, LLC is hiring an experienced Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse for a travel float pool assignment in Atlanta, GA. The selected candidate will support multiple PCU/IMCU units caring for high-acuity cardiac patients in a fast-paced hospital environment. This is a 13-week travel assignment with a night shift schedule, working 3 shifts per week. As a float pool role, you will cover all PCU/IMCU units and may potentially be assigned to telemetry beds with lower acuity patients. The patient ratio is 1:3-4. The EMR system used is Epic.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of recent PCU/IMCU experience in a similar-sized facility.
• Active RN license.
• Current AHA BLS Certification.
• Current ACLS Certification.
• Experience with Epic EMR preferred.
• Strong cardiac and telemetry experience required.

• Experience with Epic EMR

Responsibilities

• Support multiple PCU/IMCU units caring for high-acuity cardiac patients.
• Float pool role covering all PCU/IMCU units.
• Potential assignment to telemetry beds with lower acuity patients.
• STEMI & NSTEMI care.
• Chest pain and cardiac patient management.
• Cardiac drips including: Milrinone, Dobutamine, Pressors.
• Telemetry monitoring.
