About The Position

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse with a strong background in Progressive Care to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess at least two years of documented experience in a similar sized facility, specifically within a 28-bed PCU/IMCU catering to a cardiac population.

Requirements

• Registered Nurse (RN) with at least two years of PCU experience.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in a progressive care unit, with a focus on cardiac patients.
• Manage patient care for conditions such as STEMI, NSTEMI, chest pain, and other cardiovascular issues.
• Administer and monitor cardiac drips including Milrinone, Dobutamine, and pressors.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Maintain accurate and comprehensive patient records and documentation.
• May also be assigned to telemetry beds within the unit to provide care for patients with lower acuity levels.
