About The Position

Vital Care is the premier pharmacy franchise business with franchises serving a wide range of patients, including those with chronic and acute conditions. Since 1986, our passion has been improving the lives of patients and healthcare professionals through locally-owned franchise locations across the United States. We have over 100 franchised Infusion pharmacies and clinics in 35 states, focusing on the underserved and secondary markets. We know infusion services, and we guide owners along the path of launch, growth, and successful business operations. The staff nurse acts as a resource to referral sources and community home health agencies on issues related to infusion therapies provided to patients by the franchise location. The staff nurse, as permitted by state licensure regulations, may also provide direct patient care to infusion therapy patients, and is responsible to assess actual and potential patient problems, as well as planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care in coordination with the registered pharmacist. The staff nurse has an active patient education role and interacts extensively with the pharmacy staff to plan and implement patient scheduling, deliveries, and clinical assessment.
