About The Position

Three Crosses Regional Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse to join their Procedural Team. This role is for a PRN (as needed) position in Pre Admissions Testing (PAT/Pre-OP). Requirements

• Associates Degree
• Current Registered Nurse License
• Current BCLS and ACLS Certifications

Nice To Haves

• BSN Preferred
• Minimum 2 years of experience in an operating room setting, preferably in an ambulatory surgery center

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient interviews to gather complete medical history, including allergies, current medications, past surgeries, and family history.
• Complete physical and verbal assessments before admission to identify any surgical concerns.
• Order any pre-op tests needed, including blood work, EKGs, x-rays, etc.
• Educate patients and families.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to improve patient care processes and outcomes.
• Consistently review your charts for completeness, in accordance with documentation protocols prior to and after the surgical procedure.
• Will cross train to PreOp and PACU to assist as needed.
