Registered Nurse - Primary Care Pediatrics
About The Position
Registered Nurse – Primary Care Pediatrics in Evanston, IL. This is a part-time position (20 hours) with hours Monday through Friday 8am – 5pm, and Saturday between 8am – 12pm. Travel may be required based upon department needs. The role involves providing nursing care services under the direction of the office Practice Manager and Physicians, including phone triage, managing test results, medication refills, prior authorizations, conveying plans of care, and patient education/teaching. Responsibilities also include reviewing and responding to NorthShore Connect messages from patients and charting in Epic, the electronic medical record.
Requirements
- Current professional Nursing Licensure in the State of IL required
- Graduate of a NLN accredited school of nursing required
- BLS/CPR certification for the Healthcare Provider required
- 1 year of nursing experience in an office or hospital setting required
Nice To Haves
- BSN strongly preferred
