About The Position

At FootCare by Nurses, our nurses provide expert foot and lower-limb care focused on comfort, function, balance, and mobility preservation. Through careful assessments, routine foot care, and patient education, we identify concerns early and help prevent minor discomforts from becoming more serious problems that can affect comfort, independence, and mobility. This is nursing focused on prevention, not crisis. Licensed Registered Nurses, including new graduates.
Licensed Practical Nurses who have earned a college degree.

Responsibilities

Perform comprehensive assessments that consider skin and nail health, circulation, sensation, gait, footwear, fall risk, health conditions, medications, and how these factors work together.
Provide professional foot and lower limb care in patients’ homes, foot clinics, and other community settings.
Educate patients and families about prevention, foot health, safety, and mobility preservation.
Recognize concerns early and refer them to the appropriate healthcare provider when out of our scope of practice.
Document using smartphone-based charting.
Build meaningful relationships with patients and their families.
Work independently with the support of a knowledgeable team.
